Dress For Success

I inherited my love for clothes (and bargain shopping :-)) from my Grammy. I personally don’t really follow the newest trends, I choose to wear what I like and what I feel comfortable in. This often means I wear classic cuts and styles and occasionally spice it up a bit.

I have been working in DC a little over three years now, so I have pretty good “work appropriate” wardrobe.  But….Just because I work in the city of black, navy and grey that doesn’t mean I can’t make it fashionable and add some color and texture. Here a few of my outfits from this week:

Chambray Shirt: The Limited

Black A-line Skirt: The Limited

Black Bubble Necklace: Urban Peach

Shoes: Nordstrom Rack

Ivory Peplum Top: The Limited

Burgundy Ankle Pants: The Limited

Black Skinny Belt: Not sure, I have too many!

Black Patent Leather Wedges: Nine West (2ish years ago)

Dress: The Limited

 Booties: Steve Madden (last winter)
