I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
Being raised Catholic, we learned that Easter was the most important holiday because we were celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus and that the Easter season is viewed as a time for rebirth, reflection and growth- which I feel is rather fitting as I head into the final 40ish days before I become a MRS. AHH!
This Easter was the last Easter that both my brother and I were “single” and my parents were happy to have us home and to themselves before the craziness of two weddings this spring/summer. My brother’s fiancé was home with her family and future Dr. Hubby was working so it was just my mom, dad, brother and grandmother.
Sunday was a nice (little chilly) spring day. We went to Easter mass and then came home and had a nice dinner. It was low key and nice day with the family.
